Spring Break for me is just around the river bend, which doesn’t mean much because I’ll be spending the week at home—probably in sweatpants—as usual. The website was launched by 25-year-old Zim Ugochukwu in 2013, and serves as a hub of information, inspiration and insight by and for Black travelers. But Zim has been a big deal for years. She has been honored by Glamour Magazine, cloned genes, studied in India, and delivered her college commencement speech. (And she has a killer fashion sense!) She is a role model for entrepreneurs, scholars, travelers, fashionistas and women everywhere.
